Limewire Basic es un cliente P2P desarrollado en Java que permite intercambiar ficheros a través de la red Gnutella, así como la transferencia de archivos mediante el protocolo torrent.
El tipo de documentos que puedes descargar con Limewire es muy variado: archivos MP3, películas, juegos, manuales, libros, programas, imágenes, etcétera.
